Terms of Use

License

We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use CamPlan for personal or internal business purposes. Don't copy, reverse engineer, scrape, abuse, or circumvent security.

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 to create an account. CamPlan is not directed to children under 13; we will delete any data we learn was collected from a child under 13 without verifiable parental consent.

Subscriptions

Subscriptions and trials are processed either by Apple, for in-app purchases, or by Stripe, for purchases made on camplan.ai, with entitlements managed via RevenueCat. For App Store purchases, billing, cancellation, and refunds are governed by Apple's terms and your App Store account settings. For web purchases, Stripe acts as the merchant of record, and billing, cancellation, and refunds are handled through the billing portal at camplan.ai and governed by Stripe's terms. Business and team plans are sold on the web and billed through Stripe.

Teams & organizations

Business and team plans let you create a shared workspace (an organization) and invite members. An organization admin manages members, roles, invitations, and the team's billing, and is responsible for having the authority to add members and for how the workspace is used. Projects created in a team workspace are accessible to its members according to their role; removing a member, transferring ownership, or ending the team plan can change or revoke access to that team content. Admins may be able to see projects and activity within the workspace.

Your content

You retain ownership of projects, scans, photos, floor plans, AI-generated images, and .cplan files you create. You grant us a limited license to store, process, transmit, and back up this content to operate the service. You confirm you have the rights to anything you upload.

Acceptable use & objectionable content

Don't upload, generate, share, or transmit content that is unlawful, infringing, abusive, harassing, threatening, hateful, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable. Don't impersonate others or invite people to projects without their consent. To report objectionable content or abusive behaviour, email viktor@camplan.ai. We aim to review reports within 24 hours and may remove content, suspend accounts, or block users who violate this policy.

Intellectual property

CamPlan, its code, designs, logos, marks, screenshots, marketing materials, and App Store listings are the exclusive property of CamPlan AI Ltd. No brand license is granted.

"As-is" & liability

USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.The service is provided "AS IS" without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the greater of (a) what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) GBP 100. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Termination

You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time (Settings → Account). We may suspend or terminate access for breach, abuse, fraud, or legal risk.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.

Changes

We may update these terms and our privacy policy. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email at least 14 days before they take effect.

What we collect

  • Account data: email, full name, username, profile photo, onboarding preferences.
  • Project content: room scans, floor plans, photos, AI-generated images, messages, .cplan files.
  • Identifiers: Firebase user ID, RevenueCat user ID, Stripe customer ID (for web purchases), device ID, IDFV (and IDFA only if you grant App Tracking Transparency permission).
  • Team data: organization name, your membership and role, and invitations you send or accept.
  • Device and usage data: model, OS, app version, crash diagnostics, in-app events.
  • Subscription status and entitlements (via Apple, Stripe, and RevenueCat — we don't see card details).
  • Attribution data: install source, campaign, promo code, deep-link parameters.

Why we process it (legal bases)

  • To provide the service — performance of contract.
  • To secure the service and prevent abuse — legitimate interest.
  • For analytics and product improvement — legitimate interest, or consent where required.
  • For ad attribution (Meta, TikTok) — consent via Apple ATT.
  • For payments and tax/fraud compliance — contract and legal obligation.

Processors

The following service providers process data on our behalf under data-protection terms and, where applicable, Standard Contractual Clauses:

  • Google Firebase (US) — authentication, database, storage, functions, crash reporting.
  • RevenueCat (US) — subscription management.
  • Stripe (US/EU) — payment processing and merchant of record for purchases made on camplan.ai.
  • Mixpanel (US) — analytics.
  • Superwall (US) — paywalls.
  • Resend (US) — transactional email.
  • OpenAI (US) and Google Gemini (US/EU) — AI image generation and assistant responses.
  • Meta and TikTok (US) — ad attribution, only when ATT is granted.
  • Apple — App Store, payments, Sign in with Apple, device attestation.

Our AI processors (OpenAI and Google Gemini via Vertex AI) operate under enterprise API terms that do not use your inputs — including room scans, photos, prompts, and assistant messages — to train their models. We also do not use this content to train any models of our own.

International transfers

Most processors are in the United States. Where data is transferred outside the UK or EEA, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses with additional safeguards as required.

Retention

We keep personal data only as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We delete or anonymize it once those purposes are met or you delete your account.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law (UK GDPR, EU GDPR, CCPA/CPRA), you can request access, correction, deletion, export, restriction, or objection to processing of your personal data, and withdraw consent at any time. Email viktor@camplan.aito exercise these rights. You may also complain to your supervisory authority — for example, the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
